The Department of Psychiatry at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Medicine is seeking a licensed clinician to serve in a leadership role in the Adolescent and Young Adult (AYA) Cancer Program. The AYA Program Lead Clinician will be responsible for providing developmentally-appropriate psychosocial and medical care for AYA cancer patients, advancing research in the field, educating providers, and improving care for AYAs. This position involves patient care, supervision of clinical team, consultation and collaboration with oncologists and other clinicians, overseeing program operations, growth strategy, research portfolio development, marketing and communications, and partnerships and fundraising. Applicants must be a licensed clinician in the state of NC with strong leadership, communication, and supervisory skills, and 5+ years of post-Master's level experience. Preferred qualifications include strong clinical skills, experience leading interdisciplinary teams, and fundraising experience.
