Job Summary:The Nurse Clinical Instructor will be responsible for assessing and delivering nursing education programs, developing curricula, and supporting the professional growth of nursing staff at the Healthcare Center. This is an exciting opportunity to enhance the quality of healthcare education and staff development.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement nursing education programs to meet the needs of nursing staff
- Assess and evaluate the effectiveness of education programs
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary staff members to identify educational needs and requirements
- Develop and maintain curricula for nursing education programs
- Provide clinical instruction and supervision to nursing staff
- Participate in workshops and training programs to enhance professional competence
- Three (3) years of experience in hospital or institutional nursing as a registered professional nurse
- Bachelor's degree in nursing may be substituted for one (1) year of the General Experience
- Master's degree in nursing may be substituted for one (1) additional year of the General Experience
- Experience working in a long-term care facility
- Experience in providing nursing education and training
- Experience demonstrating effective interpersonal and communication skills
- Incumbents in this class must possess and retain a license as a registered professional nurse in Connecticut
- Incumbents in this class may be required to travel
