  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management or related field of study
  • 3-5 years of related experience in Human Resources, Recruitment, Organizational Development or a related discipline
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Human Resources certification preferred (PHR/SPHR and/or SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP)

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: (i.e., functions, authorities, tasks, etc.)

  • Works with department managers to hire, develop and retain the right people with the skills needed specifically for positions within the organization.
  • Designs, executes and selects recruitment methods and strategies (i.e. job boards, referral programs, staffing agencies, social media, school relationships, career fairs, etc.) to attract and hire top talent.
  • Recruits, interviews and leads the onboarding process for new employees to the organization.
  • Drives the new hire orientation program to deliver an informative, thorough and welcoming experience that incorporates the company culture.
  • Serves as the company liaison in managing the relationship between the organization and its employees.
  • Provides assistance to employees in answering questions and resolving workplace issues.
  • Advises management in employee relations issues and performance matters.
  • Consults with management on performance, organizational and leadership matters. Conducts needs assessments to determine measures required to enhance employee job performance and overall company performance.
  • Designs, develops, coordinates or conducts training programs for management and employees.
  • Reviews evaluations of training courses, objectives and accomplishments and makes assessments of effectiveness of training in terms of employee accomplishments and performance.
  • Facilitates and drives the employee performance review process.
  • Conducts check-in interviews with new hires and exit interviews for employees leaving the organization, compiles data and advises leadership of outcomes.
  • Administers the corporate wellness program and coordinates wellness events
  • Keeps abreast of new developments, mandatory regulations and laws governing employment, wages, hours, etc. and applies relative principles.
  • Performs miscellaneous duties within the HR Department as necessary.
