AMMO Inc. is a premier small arms ammunition manufacturer that provides quality parts to commercial and military markets. Position Overview:

Operations Manager will be responsible for driving a culture of accountability and ownership while leading a team across all departments in executing production plans while driving continuous improvements in safety, quality, delivery, and costs. This role will will support and drive development of team members for future growth and success. This role is for a driven leader that likes to work alongside a strong team of like minds. Responsibilities for an Operations Manager include:

  • Operating in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with an ability to prioritize and drive actions to closure
  • Drive results by fostering teamwork and accountability in a performance-oriented culture
  • Oversee the front-line leaders that lead the plant manufacturing process and continuous improvement efforts.
  • Understand production goals and drive for results focused on meeting production forecast and ensure budgeted labor is within plan.
  • Communicate short and long-range plans to Operations front-line leaders.
  • Participate and support individual career development and skills training while focusing on continuous improvement.
  • Encourage and participate in individual career development that supports robust processes to improve quality and productivity.
  • Executing multiple, simultaneous high impact initiatives to achieve overall goals

Requirements:

Qualifications for an Operations Manager:

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher in Engineering, Business Administration, Management, or related field
  • Seven (7) or more years' of leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Five (5) or more years of management experience leading and developing others.
