Summary: Women's Substance Abuse Services Clinical Case Manager will provide individual and group counseling to residents. The Clinical Case Manager will carry a caseload of up to eight clients. This individual's clients will be primarily dual-diagnosed or individuals who have been identified as high-risk clients.

Schedule: Sunday - Thursday 12:00 PM - 8:00 PM (40 hours)

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  1. Complete Clinical Intake within the first week of admission
  2. Complete Treatment Plans within first 2 weeks of admission and update as needed
  3. Be proficient in the use of the electronic Medical Record for each case
  4. Meet weekly with assigned individuals
  5. Participate in Clinical Supervision
  6. Input entries into the Medical Record must be in line with the service line procedure
  7. Participate in the on-call Rotation
  8. Expand knowledge and participate in training
  9. Understand DPH regulations and CARF standards as applicable
  10. Provide transportation as needed
  11. Establish contacts with DCF, Guardian, doctors and therapists etc. to involve all parties in the treatment process
  12. Make outside referrals as needed
  13. Attend weekly staff meeting
  14. Provide weekend holiday and emergency coverage
  15. Other duties as assigned

Required Education/Experience:

  1. A minimum of a High School Diploma or GED is required
  2. Bachelor's degree Preferred or clinical licensure preferred
  3. A minimum of five years experience in the field
  4. Individual and group counseling experience
  5. Must have an updated MA driver's license

Required Skills/Knowledge:

  1. Strong written and verbal skills
  2. Ability to maintain records accurately and efficiently
  3. Capable of responding to crisis situation
  4. If recovering, two years of continuous sobriety required
  5. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
