Overview

Immanuel Communities is seeking a Maintenance Assistant to work at Grand Lodge located at 4400 South 80th Street, Lincoln, NE 68516. Grand Lodge has 109 independent and 10 assisted living apartment homes.

The schedule for this position is Full time Days, Monday through Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm with an on call rotation every 3rd week.

Pay will be based upon experience, certifications, skills and education.

Job Duties & Skills Required

What You Will Do

Ensures building and equipment are in working order by performing preventative maintenance and repairing damage.

Completes work orders in a timely fashion.

Conducts general carpenter work using common hand and power tools.

Diagnoses mechanical problems.

Assembles structures such as furniture or pipe systems.

Repairs or replaces defective equipment parts.

Cleans and lubricates equipment.

Paints and patches walls, equipment, and structures.

Assembles, installs, and repairs electrical wiring.

Skills & Requirements

High School Diploma/GED is required.

Trade or Vocational Schooling is preferred

Equivalent years of work may substitute for education requirement.

One (1) year of facilities maintenance or related experience is required.

Equivalent years of education may substitute for experience requirement.
