Job Description
Position: Public Relations Account Executive

Location: Phoenix, AZ

Work Schedule: Remote

A Public Relations Account Executive role is now available through The Keller Group. This is a 100% remote/work-from-home position, however candidates must be within a couple of hours driving distance to Phoenix, AZ to attend meetings and events as needed.

Our client is a highly respected organization that has received many awards and accolades for its PR and content campaigns. The Public Relations Account Executive role is being added to the team due to growth and increased workload. Public Relations Account Executive Job Responsibilities:

  • Key Responsibilities: PR (national, regional & local), Account Management, Marketing Communications, Social Media, and Project Management
  • Partner with clients to understand their business objectives and goals
  • Serve as a consultative partner to clients in terms of marketing and PR strategy and campaign execution
  • Pitch local, national, and trade media
  • Develop articles, press releases, media communications, case studies, press kits, white papers, brochures, scripts for video and speeches, etc.
  • Create compelling and strategic award and speaking nominations
  • Act as a creative resource to drive content strategy and copywriting across all key marketing platforms
  • Design and execute campaigns across digital media, content, lead generation, paid social, etc.
  • Assist with project management in ensuring the proper scope of all projects and client budgets and deadlines are exceeding client expectations
  • Regularly meet with internal team and clients to report on campaign performance, analytics and ROI, etc.
  • Lead discovery and brainstorm meetings with internal teams and partners - stay up to date on all industry trends, etc.
  • Continue to foster and grow relationships with clients and identify potential areas of growth and opportunity

Requirements

Public Relations Account Executive Job Qualifications:
  • Minimum 3 years of professional PR experience working in a fast-paced digital marketing and/or PR and marketing agency
  • Exposure to working with clients across a variety of industries: B2B, B2C, healthcare, financial services, legal, professional services, etc.
  • Bachelor's Degree in PR, Marketing, Journalism, Comm, or related field of study
  • Experience in PR and Media Relations + local, regional, and national experience
  • Proficient in AP Style + Cision for media list development & research
  • Strong project management and account management skills - preferably using PM systems such as Trello, etc.
  • Proven experience in a client-facing role, managing accounts, and relationships
  • A great storyteller who excels at developing compelling pitches, press releases, newsletters, etc.
