Job SummaryWe are seeking an Accounting Intern to join our team at Arizona Public Service Company. As an intern, you will have the opportunity to work on various accounting tasks, including journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and financial statement analysis. Responsibilities- Perform balance sheet reconciliations and financial account analysis under general supervision.
- Critically assess routine issues and formulate recommendations to safeguard company assets and improve operations.
- Interact with coworkers and managers to communicate accounting issues and concerns.
- Work in various areas of accounting, including financial reporting, asset accounting, regulatory accounting, and accounting systems.
- Comply with GAAP, GAAS, IIA standards, FERC, and company procedures to ensure objectivity, independence, and professionalism.
- Actively enrolled in an accredited college or university undergraduate degree program.
- Show ongoing achievement in areas of study and training.
