We are seeking a strategic and experienced Director of Cybersecurity Compliance with a solid leadership background and deep knowledge in IT compliance management, information security controls, and IT auditing. In this pivotal role, you will lead our organization's compliance initiatives across Technology and Cybersecurity operations.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and oversee a strategic compliance program ensuring alignment with legal, regulatory, and internal standards.
- Create a multi-year risk-based IT compliance plan, approved by the CISO.
- Establish a robust framework for technology compliance management with comprehensive policies and procedures.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of internal policies and controls, ensuring the safeguarding of company assets.
- Lead the recruitment, mentorship, and development of the compliance analyst team to align with business goals.
- Act as a trusted advisor and subject matter expert on technology key controls.
- Manage testing, assessment, and documentation of IT General Controls, SOX, PCI DSS, HIPAA, and more.
- Coordinate internal and external audits, ensuring thorough compliance assessments.
- Prepare and deliver concise compliance reports to senior management.
- Foster professional growth within the team while cultivating organizational maturity.
- Champion technical compliance with cybersecurity regulations like GLBA, SOX, PCI, and more.
- Deliver IT compliance training programs to foster a culture of ethical technology use.
- Stay updated on industry trends and emerging threats, adapting compliance processes as necessary.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Technology, Computer Science, Business, or a related field; Master's degree or relevant certification (e.g., CIA, CIPP, CRISC, CISM, GIAC, CISSP) is preferred, with CISA required.
- A minimum of 10 years of leadership experience in technology audit and compliance, with a focus on SOX ITGC and PCI.
- Extensive knowledge of relevant regulations and standards governing data security and technology compliance.
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills; able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficient communication skills for explaining complex compliance issues to stakeholders.
This role is based out of the Richmond, VA Technology Innovation Center, offering a hybrid work arrangement. We invite applicants who are authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis to consider this opportunity.
