Cybersecurity Risk Management Specialist

As a Cybersecurity Risk Management Specialist with Focused HR Solutions, you will play a critical role in supporting the Virginia State Police Information Security program by providing cybersecurity services, risk management expertise, and IT infrastructure support.
Key Responsibilities:- Support agency's mission to promote information security awareness and compliance with commonwealth laws, policies, and procedures.
- Collaborate with agencies to develop and implement information security programs that meet COV laws, policies, and standards.
- Provide guidance on incident management, including training and exercises, to ensure effective response to security incidents.
- Develop and maintain knowledge of information security controls and processes for conducting Business Impact Analyses, Risk Assessments, and Third-party vendor management.
- 5+ years of experience in information security controls and processes.
- Considerable experience with SEC 530 or NIST 800-53 rev 5 and Criminal Justice Information System (CJIS).
- Knowledge of CIS Benchmark or IT Hardening guidelines.
- Strong understanding of incident management principles and practices.
