Palo Alto Networks' IT department is looking for a seasoned Senior Fullstack Software Engineer to be part of our IT People Tech Engineering team. You will be part of a world-class IT organization that works on various ground-breaking technologies and supports the entire enterprise. We want a passionate Senior Fullstack Software Engineer who loves to innovate and build high-quality products. Your Impact
- Architect, develop, and uphold full-stack custom applications, leveraging technologies such as React.js, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Node.js, and MySQL
- Transform intricate designs, wireframes, and business requirements into modular and meticulously tested code
- Work closely with Product Managers to comprehend and address business needs, ensuring alignment with technical solutions
- Collaborate seamlessly with UI/UX designers to validate the feasibility of designs and enhance user experience workflows
- Engage actively in an agile development environment, contributing to daily stand-ups, sprint planning sessions, and retrospectives to foster efficient and collaborative teamwork
- Mentor and guide junior or less experienced engineers, providing leadership in the implementation of best practices and fostering overall professional development
Your Experience
- 5 + years of demonstrable real-world expertise in crafting applications with React.js and proficiently navigating JavaScript front ends is required
- Solid hands-on experience with testing frameworks, including but not limited to Jest, Mocha, Chai, etc.
- Proven track record in implementing diverse APIs, with a preference for hands-on experience with SmartRecruiters API and Workday API
- Seasoned experience in building and deploying code within established teams that embrace CI/CD methodologies, utilizing tools such as Git and Harness
- Proficiency in working with major cloud development platforms like GCP, AWS, or Azure, with a preference for practical experience in GCP
- Must be Local to SF Bay area who can be in office 3 days/ week
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or related field or equivalent military experience required
- A Master’s degree is preferred

The compensation offered for this position will depend on qualifications, experience, and work location. For candidates who receive an offer at the posted level, the starting base salary (for non-sales roles) or base salary + commission target (for sales/commissioned roles) is expected to be between $123,900/yr to $200,400/yr. The offered compensation may also include restricted stock units and a bonus. A description of our employee benefits may be foundhere.
