Represents Arrowhead General Insurance Agency to insurance brokers/agents as the Development Manager, Sales and Marketing. Develops sales production through producer visits, product training and technical demonstrations of Arrowhead Exchange. Provides Claims/Customer Services and underwriting training. The goal is to build relationships, determine producers' true potential, cross sell available programs and increase producer production to achieve production goals for all lines in CA, WA, OR and HI. Candidate must be located in Los Angeles area.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Include the following:

  • Meets or exceed production goals for assigned territory
  • 60% field travel
  • Travels throughout assigned territory to visit existing and prospective agents/brokers to develop sales; communicates regularly with agents/brokers to achieve production profit objectives.
  • Prospects and makes appointments with new producers
  • Develop Producer commitments, and update Producer Profiles
  • Conduct Producer training during visitsl, webinars, etc.
  • Customer Service (Following up on complaints and problem solving)
  • Acts as problem solving liaison between or for Arrowhead and agent/broker
  • Encourages ride-along with team members or Management
  • Maintains knowledge of all Arrowhead Data bases (Goldmine), software and technology
  • Assists Marketing WA/OR events/tradeshows, publications and promotions within assigned territory
  • Manages ongoing sales training and education with CLJ
  • Possesses marketplace knowledge (knowing competition strength and weaknesses) and communicates regularly with Residential Earthquake Team and CLJ
  • Provide regular updates on sales activity and activities to management and team members.
  • Production goals quarterly and monthly:
  • Meet or exceed employees individual performances goals
  • Monthly summary reports
  • Completes and update State Plan on a quarterly basis
  • Initiates and manages suspension & terminations of producer appointments
  • Other duties as assigned
