Job description

A premier full-service law firm is seeking an Intellectual Property Docket Specialist to accurately review, enter, and process IP prosecution correspondence. The specialist must have 5-10+ years of experience, prior experience with CPI docketing systems, advanced computer skills, excellent interpersonal skills, and a strong work ethic. This is a full-time position, with occasional evening and weekend work required. The salary range is $78,000 to $104,000+. No travel is expected for this position.

Education & Experience:

  • Undergraduate degree
  • 5-10+ years of IP prosecution docketing experience
  • Prior experience with CPI docketing systems
  • Advanced computer, Outlook, and Microsoft Office Skills (Word and Excel)
  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Strong planning and execution skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively and work independently
  • Attention to detail and ability to comprehend complex materials

Additional Information:

  • Supervisory Responsibility - This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities
  • Work Environment - This position operates in a professional work environment
  • Position Type/Expected Work Hours - This is a full-time non-exempt position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required
  • New York Salary Range - $78,000 to $104,000+
  • Travel - No travel is expected for this position
