This is a task oriented role that could be a great fit for your needs Nystrom & Associates, Ltd. is a team of mental health professionals that specialize in psychiatric evaluations, clinical social work, and family therapy. We are committed to helping patients in our community who are experiencing personal, emotional, marriage, family or psychological problems. Founded in 1991, we offer an intensive outpatient chemical dependency program, psychological testing, and behavioral health and medication management services. Hours: Monday through Friday day-time hours Job Duties: Posting/Reconciling of Insurance Remits and/or Patient PaymentsPosting all A/R by deadline dates 3 deadlines per monthAll denials and payments are to be posted before the remit is considered complete.Applying payments and denials to the correct patient accounts Recognize and report trends and patterns regarding changes in claim payment and/or denialsPrepare Secondary billing with corresponding COB informationReview, and track electronic deposited funds to ensure all money received is applied to accounts (deposit logs)Projects as assignedAll other duties as assigned by Management. Job Expectations Immediate recognition of trends and patterns with payersTask basket management Inquiries are followed up within 24 hours of creation Open communication with Supervisor and others in the business officeProfessional communication with insurance companiesArrive and leave on time according to assigned scheduleAbility to come into the office at least once per monthAdhere to business office/NAL policies Cell phone policyAttendance policyGossip policy Attend and participate in biweekly staff meetings and any other meetings and/or training sessions as indicated.
