Job Summary

Shambaugh & Son is searching for a Mobile User Support Specialist. In this position you will be responsible for order, setup, invoice reconciliation, and initial technical support for all mobile users.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, install, setup, and configure employee phones and applications
  • Serve as the first point of contact for employees seeking technical assistance over the phone or email
  • Reconcile monthly invoice
  • Run usage reports for management team monthly
  • Order phones and supplies according to company policy
  • Guide employees remotely through systems configuration, troubleshooting, and maintenance
  • Walk employees step-by-step through the problem-solving process
  • Prioritize employee satisfaction in all communications, directing unresolved issues to next-level personnel
  • Follow up with employees to ensure the problem is resolved
  • Assist employees with various applications and operating systems
  • Communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical users
  • Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • Experience working as a mobile device technician or in a similar customer support role, preferred
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Android and iOS operating systems and experience troubleshooting hardware and software
  • The ability to break down technological processes and deliver clear, step-by-step instructions
  • Patient, friendly demeanor with a great aptitude for listening
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Commitment to providing exceptional customer service
  • Passion for problem-solving and customer service
  • Tech savvy, with experience working in a tech-related field
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve a variety of technical issues
  • Team-oriented mindset with an openness to constructive feedback
  • Possess working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Ability to prioritize work accordingly
