Job Title: Linux Systems Administrator with Security+ Location: San Diego, CA US Citizenship: Required Job Description: Technology Unlimited Group (TUG) seeks self-starting Systems Administrators who will be part of a team of system and software engineering professionals supporting US Navy systems in a structured environment to meet our customer's high expectations. The position will be at the TUG office and/or customer sites in San Diego. Required Skills and Qualifications: Bachelor degree from accredited university in the area of Cybersecurity, Information Systems, Computer Science or Computer Engineering CompTIA Security+ CompTIA Linux+ and/or Microsoft Windows Certification Experience with computer system administration Eligible for Government Security Clearance Proficiency in technical writing and oral communications skills Ability to work with and communicate with project team members and customers representatives. Desired Skills and Qualifications: In addition to the required skills, the ideal candidate should have experience in one or more of the following areas: Experience with system administration in Microsoft Windows Server 2003 and greater, and Microsoft Windows 7 and greater. Experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) Experience with installing, hardening, operating and testing systems. Experience with Application servers (like JBOSS and Tomcat) Experience with UNIX Shell Scripts, PowerShell, Bash, Perl, Java, and SQL for software package development Technology Unlimited Group is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
