About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Linux Systems Administrator to join our team at Raytheon. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for deploying and maintaining classified IT infrastructures, ensuring the security and integrity of our systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deploy and maintain Red Hat Linux servers, storage systems, and file servers
  • Manage access control, data backup, and software configuration
  • Provide workstation support and troubleshoot technical issues
  • Collaborate with engineers to improve processes and implement new technologies
  • Install and configure hardware and operating systems

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and 2 years of experience or 6 years of directly related experience
  • Active and transferable U.S. government issued Secret security clearance
  • Linux or Windows experience, with expertise in Active Directory, VMware, and backup and recovery

Preferred Qualifications

  • DoD 8570/8140 IAT Level 2 certification or higher
  • Experience with NISPOM, JAFAN, JSIG, DFARS, and/or DoD/RMF
  • Expertise in Windows Server, data storage, NAS, and SAN technologies
  • Experience with VMWare vCenter, vSphere, and ESX, and/or other virtual computing methods
  • Scripting experience and knowledge of Enterprise Active Directory (AD) & LDAP
