responsibilities:

  • Maintain and modify Windows Server Operating Systems, Active Directory, Directory Services, and monitor server performance.

  • Manage VMware products like vCenter, ESXi (6.x+), HorizonView, and vSAN in a production environment.

  • Provide remote troubleshooting assistance via phone and email to team, distributors, integrators, and customers.

  • Collaborate with engineers, manage multiple issues, and handle high-pressure situations.

  • Investigate and verify reported issues in software, firmware, hardware, and documentation. Document problems, coordinate with relevant teams for resolution, and follow up with customers.

  • Document actions taken, set customer expectations, and follow up on necessary actions to resolve customer issues. Update and create Technical Notes and documentation to share solutions and best practices with colleagues globally, enhancing customer satisfaction.

Requirements

  • VMWare Certified Professional (VCP) preferred.

  • Proficiency in VMware associated programs and coding languages, such as Windows Server, MS IIS, SAN/vSAN architectures.

  • Extensive knowledge of the fundamentals of VMware solutions and related technologies.

  • Programming Language for cloud platforms: Python, Java, JavaScript, Power Shell

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

  • Exceptional analytical and technical aptitude.

  • Great organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.

  • Familiarity with network and SAN switching technologies.
