The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in embedded systems software design, exceptional proficiency with Yocto Linux, and a passion for supporting customers through design challenges related to Wi-Fi / BT connectivity. You will support customers throughout their design cycle, including their initial bring-up, software development & integration, debugging challenges, and post-production support.
RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide professional design and integration support to Ezurio's customers, with a specific focus on integrating Ezurio's Wi-Fi / Bluetooth Combo modules into their end-product designs.
  • Develop a strong understanding of Ezurio's product offering, including system-level features/benefits, with a focus on the Yocto / Buildroot Linux Wi-Fi connectivity stack and our backporting methodology.
  • Troubleshoot customer issues via phone, email, and web-based case management system, especially those related to Wi-Fi integration and performance.
  • Take full ownership of customer technical support including providing timely responses to inquiries, holding live debug sessions, and seeing problems through to resolution, with an emphasis on Wi-Fi / BT-related issues.
  • Develop customer-facing demos, write technical documentation (App-Notes, Integration Guides, etc.) and author FAQs, focusing on Wi-Fi integration and optimization.
REQUIREMENTS
  • Very proficient with Yocto Linux running on ARM Microprocessors, with a deep understanding of Wi-Fi protocols and integration.
  • Hardware integration proficiency including high comfort level navigating wireless module datasheets and application notes.
  • Technical aptitude with creative problem-solving, troubleshooting abilities, and debugging skills particularly related to Wi-Fi / BT Yocto integration.
  • Thrives on solving complex problems and pride yourself on delivering a solution.
  • Excellent communication skills (both oral and written), ability to work with a keen sense of urgency, professionalism and a positive attitude are core to this position.
  • Strong time-management and organizational skills.
  • Proven ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams (Sales, R&D, Engineering, Product Management, etc.).
  • Extensive experience with Wi-Fi and/or Bluetooth integration is preferred.
  • Experience with wireless module hardware design practices is nice-to-have.
  • Experience with Buildroot Linux and Android is nice-to-have.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in a technical discipline (Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, etc.) or relevant prior experience required.
  • 3-5 years of experience with ARM-based microprocessors utilizing Yocto Linux.
