Linux System Administrator

We are seeking a highly skilled Linux/Unix administrator to join our team at Saxon Global. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing Legacy Unix/Linux 6.0, 6.5 servers, as well as a strong understanding of ITIL processes, including Change, Incident, RITM, and Problem Requests.
Key Responsibilities:
• Monitor and support 24*5 queue operations
• Perform physical and virtual Linux server builds
• Implement Linux patching and reboot processes
• Manage user limits, mount file systems, and change permissions
• Coordinate with app and dba teams to resolve issues
• Perform storage requests, including new allocations and expansions
• Support storage, Luns, and disk migrations
• Install software and decommission/retire servers
• Work with critical apps like PLM, Dagoba, and Visibility
Requirements:
• Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix systems and ITIL processes
• Experience with Legacy Unix/Linux 6.0, 6.5 servers
• Proficiency in VMware and storage management
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
