New Story Schools in Mountville, PA is seeking a qualified Behavior Technician, who will work collaboratively with Special Education teachers and Behavior Analysts to fulfill the individual curriculum, self-care needs of the students and implement behavior plans and protocols. Staff will provide Autism support or Emotional/Behavioral support to our population of students.

Pay Starting at up to $19/hr, based on experience Hours are M-F 8:15am-3:15pm.  Paid holidays and school breaks as outlined on the school calendar.  

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist with the implementation of the students Individualized Education (IEP)
  • Assist students within the classroom/program setting during participation in special subjects such as Physical Education, Vocational programs, and Field trips.
  • Implement appropriate behavior management strategies and techniques.
  • Observe/Record data related to behavioral concerns to assess/monitor the progress of the student
