Job Summary and Qualifications

Under the general supervision of the Director of Cardiopulmonary the Respiratory Student provides comprehensive respiratory care to include: basic respiratory care, cardiopulmonary resuscitation, arterial blood gas, electrocardiograms

What you will do in this role:

  •  Performs patient care duties consistent with established Departmental and Hospital standards of care. Abides by all rules, directives, policies, and procedures, and performs miscellaneous duties as assigned. 
What qualifications you will need:
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
  • High School Graduate / GED
  • Currently enrolled and has completed at least 6 months in AMA approved Respiratory Therapy program concurrent with clinical phase of education
