Willdan is seeking a Program Support Specialist to work with the project delivery team and support a variety of program activities in Boise, Idaho.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Ensures the collection of project information is accurate and can be processed and returned to outside utility Program Managers. Applies theory, technical principles, and judgement to address a broad range of difficult projects/ problems and reviews complex deviations to management for resolution.
  • Assists or interacts with regulatory agencies as necessary.
  • Reviews and interprets data for accuracy before generating necessary documents for submittal to regulatory agencies. Re-validates any returned paperwork and gets it ready for resubmission.
  • Prepares reports by analyzing and summarizing the data to support program requirements.
  • Successfully manages small to medium cross functional projects to ensure deliverables are met on time.
  • Research utility program requirements in other markets to present consistent information to the market.
  • Assisting in researching targeted companies and associates with opportunity.

Job Requirements / Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Sustainability, Building Sciences, Construction Management, Architecture or Environmental Science or similar preferred.
  • 3 years' work experience in utility-based programs.
  • Strong interest and desire to work within the sustainability and energy industry.
  • Positive attitude, strong work ethic, integrity, and sense of ownership.
  • Must be highly organized, detail oriented, and results driven.
  • Ability to manage detailed processes and problem solve quickly.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing with clients and employees.
  • Ability to work alone and in a group environment.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret product specifications, accounting statements, engineering reports and building drawings.
