Business Development Executive

Job Summary:As a Business Development Executive specializing in US IT Staffing & Recruitment , you will be responsible for driving business growth by identifying, acquiring, and managing client relationships in the Information Technology (IT) staffing and recruitment sector within the United States. You will play a pivotal role in expanding our client base and contributing to the company's overall success.

Key Responsibilities:

Client Acquisition:
Identify and target prospective clients within the IT industry, including IT companies, startups, and organizations with IT staffing needs.
Generate new business opportunities through cold calling, networking, industry events, and other lead generation techniques.
Conduct thorough research to understand potential clients' staffing needs and tailor our services to meet their requirements.
Relationship Management:
Build and nurture strong, long-term relationships with existing clients to ensure client retention and satisfaction.
Act as the main point of contact for clients, addressing their concerns and providing solutions to their staffing challenges.
Regularly communicate with clients to stay updated on their IT staffing needs and align our services accordingly.
Market Analysis:
Stay informed about the latest trends and developments in the IT staffing and recruitment industry.
Analyze market conditions, competitor strategies, and pricing models to identify opportunities for growth and differentiation.
Business Strategy:
Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy to achieve sales targets and revenue goals.
Collaborate with the senior management team to align business development initiatives with the company's overall objectives.
Sales and Negotiation:
Prepare and present compelling proposals, quotes, and presentations to potential clients.
Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to secure new business and maximize profitability.
Monitor and track sales performance, pipeline, and forecast to ensure consistent revenue growth.
Team Collaboration:
Work closely with the recruitment and delivery teams to ensure seamless execution of client projects.
Provide feedback from clients to help improve the quality of service and candidate selection processes.

KPIs for Client Acquisition - Weekly

Weekly Leads Generated:
Target: Generate at least 5 new leads every week.
Weekly Cold Calls Made:
Target: Make a minimum of 300 cold calls each week.

KPIs for Emailing - Weekly/Monthly

Total Emails Sent:
Target: Send out at least 100 targeted emails weekly.
Open Rate:
Target: Achieve an email open rate of 20%.
Conversion Rate:
Target: Convert 2% of email recipients into clients or appointments.

KPIs for LinkedIn - Monthly

Total Connections Made:
Target: Make 100 new LinkedIn connections per month.
InMails Sent:
Target: Send 100 InMails per month.
InMail Response Rate:
Target: Achieve a 20% response rate for InMails. Be creative with your emails.

KPIs for Client Meetings - Monthly

Monthly Client Meetings Conducted:
Target: Conduct at least 3-4 client meetings in a month.
Monthly Client Meeting Locations:
Target: Conduct meetings in at least 2 different cities or states, based on client distribution.
Monthly Flights for Client Meetings:
Target: Limit to a maximum of 2 flights a month for client meetings to control travel costs.
Monthly Follow-Up Rate:
Target: Follow up with 100% of client meetings within two working days.

Additional KPIs Related to Client Meetings and Travel

Travel Efficiency:
Target: Combine multiple client meetings in a single trip whenever possible and book tickets ahead of time.

KPIs for Events and Conferences - Quarterly or Bi-Annually

Events and Conferences Attended:
Target: Attend at least 2 industry-specific events or conferences per quarter.
Number of Clients Engaged at Events:
Target: Engage with at least 10 prospective clients and 5 existing clients per event.
Client Meetings Scheduled Post-Event:
Target: Schedule follow-up meetings with at least 40% of the engaged clients within a week after the event.
Conversion Rate Post-Event:
Target: Convert at least 20% of the leads generated at events into actual clients within 3 months.
