Position Title: Manager II Finance

Position Summary:

Owns the processes, timelines, and approach to ensure the accurate, timely and insightful preparation of budgets, forecasts, and actual results for Distribution and Transportation. This position provides complex analytical support to proactively identify, analyze and interpret business performance drivers and opportunities for enhancements in the P&L. Proactive management of opportunities with corporate budgets (opex and capex), forecasts & financials and headcount is a priority.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage overall process of LRP, Budget, and Forecasts and ad hoc analysis
  • Set timelines, responsibilities, key deliverables
  • Maintain financial model and submission templates
  • Complete modeling of projections and driver-based planning
  • Manage consolidation of results in Essbase
  • Provide support in identifying, researching, and understanding trends
  • Complete EPM (consolidation) forms / work with accounting on submission to Group
  • Prepare Group analytical schedules and memos
  • Prepare Business Review materials
  • Serve as primary support to senior leadership and management to provide a clear understanding of results, with key drivers of performance, and actionable insights.
  • Prepare Group analytical schedules and memos
  • BIR Deck Leads
  • Analysis of actual results against Budget, Forecast, and Prior Year
  • Demonstrate a deep understanding of the critical issues and opportunities within all areas.
  • Define key focus areas for the period and work with Supply Chain and others to obtain necessary inputs
  • Prepare BIR, ExCo memo, supplemental information
  • Ad hoc requests supporting Senior Leadership
Skills/Education/Experience:
  • Strong Analytical skills
  • Able to depict the financial story using data and relevant business knowledge
  • 5-7 years experience
  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
  • Travel 20%
