Offers will be tailored within the range based on the selected candidate's experience, industry knowledge, technical and communication skills, and other factors that may prove relevant during the interview process, as well as geographic market differentials for the position. Position Summary: Carestream is hiring a tactical Logistics Manager (no direct reports), at either its HQ in Rochester, NY or Windsor, CO. The Consumables Logistics Manager has responsibility for working with the WW Demand & Supply Manager to drive the Consumable's global logistics strategy. S/he will be the primary tactical logistics focal point for the Vertical and will assist the business in meeting or exceeding the global distribution and duty targets. S/he will be responsible for implementing strategic solutions developed by the WW Demand & Supply Manager that drive improvements and optimize the supply chain ultimately enabling the Vertical to meet/exceed their Revenue and Earnings Goals. S/he works with the WW Demand & Supply Manager and other functional areas to ensure actions support customer service, inventory and cost goals. This individual contributor role requires a global, customer focused mindset and an ability to work across functional boundaries while driving change and improvement. Reports to: WW Demand & Supply Manager . Position Responsibilities: Participate in the implementation of the Vertical's global logistics strategy to support the Vertical's Business Strategies, Revenue and Earnings goals. * Assist in business cases to support changes in the supply network. * Assist in implementing logistics solutions to support the business and/or specific LOB/SPU requirements. * Coordinate with the regional teams to implement new or optimize current networks and warehousing solutions. * Partner with the Global Logistics Finance team to assist in calculating vertical distribution and duty cost targets (ASR, AOP, EYE, activity based costing, distribution factors), taking into account key sourcing, mode, network, etc. changes and ensuring alignment with the Vertical's strategies. * Conduct monthly variance analysis and report findings back to the WW Demand & Supply Manager. Use analysis to validate or identify productivity opportunities. * Assist in financial reporting as agreed to with the Vertical for the Vertical Monthly Operations Review. * Engage with projects aligned with the strategic initiatives of the Vertical. * Coordinate with Purchasing on Global Purchasing directives for Supplier productivity, delivery and quality performance. * Facilitate SC&L and Order to Cash process integration for all new acquisitions by the vertical. * Coordinate with the Regions on the determination of Country of Origin (CoO) and Free Trade Agreement eligibility (i.e., NAFTA, BAA, Korean FTA) for critical new and existing products. Verify labeling meets the source country's and CSH's rules and supports CoO determination. * Partner with the Carestream POF team to conduct monthly POF reporting and required action items to deliver required Vertical results. * Business Vertical liaison to Carestream Import/Export and Customs resources. Required Skills & Education: * Minimum BS degree or at least 5 years equivalent experience. * Experience working in the international import/export space. Should have Global Logistics, not just in/out of one city/state. * Proven ability to work and influence outcomes in a matrix environment (influential leadership). * Distribution functional knowledge required: transportation modes/options/costs and warehousing fundamentals. * Broad understanding of the Supply Chain from Customer order management, through physical logistics (both warehousing and transportation), to Customer delivery. Desired Skills: * Experience leading projects preferred * Highly proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint and other key systems (SAP, SC Browsers, etc.). * Excellent analytical skills. * Excellent communicator, both written and verbal. Able to get point across effectively. * Possesses outstanding inter-personal skills to work at all levels of the vertical from top management to transaction support * Results driven / goal oriented. * Zero defect mentality, advocate for highest level of quality. * Always be willing to drive what is needed or find the right person to do so. * Ability to work within the constraints of a medical regulated business and comply with the medical regulations. * Ability to understand or identify vertical business requirements and translate into logistics requirements.
