The Logistics and Facilities Management Specialist is responsible for overseeing daily shipping and receiving operations, ensuring efficient dispatch of items through various carriers, and managing the intake of materials.
This role involves maintaining accurate inventory levels and managing all material transactions within our ERP system to uphold a high standard of inventory precision.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting regular cycle counts and providing precise data to the Finance and Global Sourcing teams, assisting with any necessary reconciliations.
- Processing all inventory transactions in real-time to ensure accurate tracking of incoming and outgoing goods.
- Managing the receipt and processing of all incoming Return Merchandise Authorizations (RMAs).
- Performing visual inspections of shipments upon arrival, verifying against packing slips, and addressing any discrepancies or quality issues with suppliers.
- Preparing packing slips and confirming that product quantities and serial numbers align with sales orders.
- Serving as the primary contact for facility-related matters, coordinating with landlords for maintenance and repairs.
- Ensuring a safe and organized work environment by maintaining cleanliness in the warehouse and workstations.
- Optimizing warehouse organization for maximum space utilization and orderliness.
- Utilizing safety equipment as required to maintain a secure workplace.
- Providing backup support for service logistics and planning activities.
- Generating and dispatching purchase orders to suppliers for customer requirements.
Qualifications:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including word processing, spreadsheets, and databases.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage effectively with various stakeholders.
- Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to operate a forklift safely.
