Our services include a state-of-the-art psychiatric urgent care center and a soon-to-be-built pediatric behavioral health center, outpatient, inpatient, partial hospitalization (day programs), assessment and testing, residential, addiction treatment and specialty services such as crisis response, employee assistance programs, forensic psychiatry and psychology, and neuromodulation. What Will you Do?

As a IS Project Manager at Pine Rest, you'll be part of tight-knit team that believes in the healing power of your expertise and compassion. You'll be responsible for managing the end-to-end project lifecycle for either executive sponsored or department projects to support the organization's development and integration of new and expanded programs or supports the department's leadership team in carrying out projects. The IS Project Manager will work with the IS Leadership Team to manage the strategic roadmap of projects and will create and maintain an IS Project Management Community of Practice. In addition, the IS Project Manager will be assigned as the primary project lead for Community Connect projects. Serves as a hub for the management of various project-related administrative tasks, including scheduling meetings, distributing meeting minutes, developing and tracking project milestones, and reporting progress of projects. The position may represent the project or department at the corporate level or other committees as needed. The Project Manager must demonstrate excellent customer service and have enthusiasm for the department, the Pine Rest organization, and Pine Rest's patients and customers. Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Develops/maintains Community of Practice guidelines for IS Project Management and serves as a resource to assist/mentor IS staff assigned to coordinate projects.
  • Works closely with IS Leadership team to maintain the strategic roadmap and strategic project backlog.
  • Directs and manages project development and execution from beginning to end, including successful closure.
  • Assists project teams in creating long- and short-term plans, including settings targets for milestones and adhering to deadlines.
  • Delegates project tasks to employees best positioned to complete them and ensures timely completion.
  • Serves as a point of contact for project teams when multiple units are assigned to the same project to ensure team actions remain consistent and on track with requirements, deadlines, and schedules.
  • Manages reports and necessary documentation of the project.
  • Evaluates/monitors the impact/outcomes of program, project, or process, recommending and implementing changes.
  • Develops/maintains up-to-date record keeping systems, including data collection, data analysis and tracking related activity.
  • Develops/maintains an up-to-date understanding of Pine Rest programs and their needs.
  • May act as a consultant in area of specialty to other department members and managers.
  • Complies with internal and external policy.
  • Assist with annual budget process.
  • Protects operations by keeping financial information confidential.
  • Works with internal departments and external customers to facilitate and coordinate project completion.
Additional Responsibilities:
  • Serves as the department's liaison with various internal departments to support current operations.
  • Compiles data related to productivity and assists managers in analyzing reports related to project performance.
  • Guides cost analysis process by establishing and enforcing policies and procedures; providing trends and forecasts; explaining processes and techniques; recommending actions.
  • Uses metrics with work team to identify areas of opportunity and facilitates process improvements; assists with proactive and corrective action plans to facilitate improvements.
  • Collect data on care performance measures in key identified areas and contributes to maintenance of IS Scorecard.
What Does the Role Require?

Education/Experience:
  • Education, Training, and Experience:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business/IT/Healthcare Administration or a related field preferred. Equivalent knowledge, skills and abilities will be considered.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a project manager role in the healthcare technology space required. Significant experience managing healthcare technology projects in other job roles will be considered.
  • PMP or similar certification desired, or proof of equivalent experience.
  • Experience managing Epic EHR projects highly preferred, experience with Epic Community Connect programs desired.
  • Experience with Agile or similar management practices preferred.
