BC Forward is looking for Provider Data Management Analyst 1 (REMOTE ) in Indianapolis, IN 46204
Position Title: Provider Data Management Analyst 1 (REMOTE )
Locations: Indianapolis, IN 46204 (Need Local to IN)
Anticipated Start Date: 9/3
Expected Duration: 12 Months
Job Type: Contract with Possible extension
Shift: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, No, but there is temporary over-time available 4th Qtr annually to complete a State Auditing project.
Pay Rate: $18.00/hr on W2
Job Description:
Position Purpose: Perform provider data management related activities based on plan and contract specifications and standard business rules - includes data analysis and entry, review of data via internet sites and other systems, and usage of multiple systems and applications to validate data is complete and accurate.
* Outbound phone call verification of information found within the health plan online physician directory;
* Tracking all work performed in the departmental sharepoint tracking system;
* Researching via the internet and outbound phone calls to resolve blank phone numbers within the physician directory;
* Performing specific actions/interventions in response to physician directory audits;
Describe the performance expectations/metrics for this individual and their team:
* Daily tracking of work performed;
* Working in close relationship with departmental Project Coordinator to obtain work assignments;
* Attending all 1:1 meetings with Project Coordinator,
* being respectful of co-workers;
* identifying issues and offering solutions,
* having a clean performance history; and
* completing assigned work

* Logging into system and ensuring equipment and access is functional;
* Meeting with Director and Project Coordinator I
* Training with Project Coordinator I
Required Skills/Experience:
1+ years of data entry, analysis or customer service experience, preferably with healthcare operations (i.e. claims processing, billing, provider relations or contracting)
Provider data management, or credentialing in a managed care, insurance, or medical office environment.

Critical Thinking
Education Requirement: Associate's degree, or high school diploma/equivalent
Education Preferred: Bachelor's Degree
Software Skills Required: Excel, Outlook, Share Point
Education/Experience: Associates degree, or high school diploma/equivalent and 1+ years of data entry, analysis or customer service experience, preferably with healthcare operations (i.e. claims processing, billing, provider relations or contracting), provider data management, or credentialing in a managed care, insurance, or medical office environment. Experience performing data analysis in Excel or similar tools strongly preferred.
