We are seeking a skilled Systems Administrator to manage our suite of SaaS applications, Single Sign-On (SSO) systems, JumpCloud, Apple Business Manager (ABM), Mobile Device Management (MDM), and other critical IT infrastructure.

Job Summary

The Systems Administrator will be responsible for the day-to-day administration, maintenance, and support of various SaaS applications, identity and access management solutions, and device management systems. This role requires a proactive individual with a strong technical background and excellent problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • SaaS Applications Management
    • Administer and support a range of SaaS applications (e.g., Google Workspace, AWS, 1Password, Slack, etc.).
    • Ensure seamless integration and functionality of all SaaS applications used by the company.
    • Monitor application performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement updates and enhancements.
  • Identity and Access Management
    • Manage Single Sign-On (SSO) solutions to ensure secure and efficient access to company resources.
    • Oversee the administration of JumpCloud, including user provisioning, role assignments, and policy enforcement.
    • Implement and manage multi-factor authentication (MFA) across all systems.
  • Apple Business Manager (ABM) and Mobile Device Management (MDM):
    • Administer Apple Business Manager (ABM) to manage Apple devices within the organization.
    • Implement and maintain JumpCloud for Apple, Windows and Linux to ensure secure and efficient device management.
    • Oversee device enrollment, configuration, and compliance.
  • System Security and Compliance:
    • Ensure all systems and applications comply with security standards and best practices.
    • Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify and mitigate security risks.
    • Stay updated on the latest security threats and implement measures to protect company data.
  • User Support and Training:
    • Provide technical support and training to end-users for SaaS applications and related systems.
    • Develop and maintain documentation and training materials for users and IT staff.
    • Assist with onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring proper access and security controls.
  • General IT Administration:
    • Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and perform regular maintenance and updates.
    • Maintain and update the corporate asset register.
    • Support administrators in the purchasing process.
    • Collaborate with other IT team members to develop and implement IT policies and procedures.
    • Participate in IT projects and initiatives as required.
Qualifications

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
Experience
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in IT administration, with a focus on SaaS applications and identity management.
  • Proven experience with JumpCloud, SSO, ABM, and MDM solutions.
  • Experience in managing and supporting multiple platforms in a business and development environment.
Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency with SaaS application administration (Google Workspace, Slack, etc.).
  • Strong knowledge of identity and access management principles and solutions (SSO, MFA).
  • Experience with JumpCloud administration.
  • Experience with managing secure user access to AWS infrastructure.
  • Familiarity with Apple Business Manager and Mobile Device Management systems.
  • Experience working asynchronously through ticketing systems.
  • Understanding of IT security best practices and compliance standards.
Soft Skills:
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organisational skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Certifications in relevant technologies (e.g., JumpCloud Administrator, Apple Certified Support Professional, etc.).
  • Experience with other IT management tools and platforms (e.g., Jira, Confluence, etc.).
  • Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) for automation.
