We have partnered with a client of ours who is seeking a Talented Systems Administrator to join their team, reporting directly to the Senior Systems Administrator. This is an onsite position in Austin, TX.

In this role, you'll be pivotal in ensuring the smooth functioning of our client's IT operations and their alignment. You'll be hands-on, adept at diagnosing various infrastructure issues in a dynamic environment and contribute actively to shaping their technology strategy. Collaboration and effective communication within their infrastructure team, technology department, and across the organization are essential aspects of this role.

What you get to go do:

  • Collaborate with our clients cybersecurity team to implement necessary updates to endpoints and infrastructure.
  • Stay vigilant in monitoring and providing insights in response to evolving threats.
  • Manage Intune and Endpoint Manager for both Windows and mobile devices.
  • Take charge of administering Azure AD accounts.
  • Provide support in administering call flows and routing.
  • Assist Tier 1 technicians in troubleshooting system-related issues.
  • Oversee the smooth onboarding and offboarding processes for our employees.
  • Offer recommendations for enhancing existing systems and adopting new technologies.
  • Maintain meticulous documentation of our current in-production system technology.
  • Utilize your expertise in installing network cabling, equipment, and providing ongoing support.

What you need to be successful in this role:

  • Demonstrated experience as an Office 365 account administrator.
  • Proficiency in managing and troubleshooting Azure AD and Intune/Endpoint Manager.
  • Familiarity with administering RingCentral is advantageous.
  • Experience in deploying and managing Windows Autopilot is a plus.
  • Proficiency in managing SSL certificates.
  • Experience in email hosting and troubleshooting (including spam filtering, DKIM, SPF); experience migrating mailboxes to Exchange Online (O365) is beneficial.
  • Experience configuring and supporting Windows Servers in a production environment.
  • Familiarity with managing the 365 Purview compliance panel is desirable.
  • Excellent communication skills, able to articulate technology initiatives effectively to stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of industry best practices in backups, network security, patch management, monitoring, and documentation.
  • Strong customer service orientation with a commitment to service quality and follow-through.
  • Willingness and enthusiasm to learn and adopt new and emerging technologies to meet evolving business needs.
