The Senior Administrative Manager will manage the day-to-day operations of specific departments across the California offices.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage and support teams responsible for various administrative functions in the California offices. Set goals, monitor performance, and promote continuous professional development.
  • Oversee the implementation of firm initiatives, projects, programs, and events at the local level.
  • Provide oversight and administration of budgets for areas of responsibility, ensuring financial efficiency.
  • Coordinate and manage office events (both onsite and offsite), including budgeting and community outreach efforts.
  • Work with internal departments and external partners to ensure smooth operations and compliance with local regulations.
  • Oversee relationships with vendors related to office administration.
  • Facilitate new hire orientations, coordinate training sessions, and manage onboarding processes for both attorneys and business professionals.
  • Ensure the effective management of client support services, office services, records, and facilities within the assigned offices.
  • Handle other projects as assigned and work beyond scheduled hours as needed.

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree is strongly preferred or equivalent professional experience.
  • 5+ years of management experience.
  • 10+ years of experience in work processes and procedures, with a strong background in professional services or a legal environment.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong skills in planning, allocating, and reconciling operational budgets.
  • In-depth knowledge of office administration and services, particularly in a legal setting.
  • Advanced understanding of records management practices, preferably within a legal environment.
  • expertise in facilities procedures and practices.
  • Familiarity with legal office terminology and procedures.
