We are seeking an experienced Product Manager to join our Contract Intelligence & Analytics team and drive the development of innovative AI solutions that will have a transformative impact on the legal industry. This role can be performed from our head office in San Francisco, or remotely from the US or Canada or a combination of both. Some exceptions may apply.

What you'll work on:

    • As the Product Manager for AI products at Evisort, you will spearhead the vision, strategy, and roadmap execution within our suite of Contract Intelligence & Analytics features. Your leadership will be crucial in realizing our ambitious vision to deliver best-in class-AI at scale, to transform how major companies optimize and streamline key business processes related to negotiating and managing their contracts.
    • Leveraging your expertise in generative and predictive AI, your role will be instrumental in advancing our AI initiatives and delivering exceptional value to corporate legal departments and business professionals world-wide.

Product Leadership & Collaboration:
    • Develop and execute a comprehensive product vision and strategy for the Contract Intelligence portfolio tailored to the business needs of enterprise customers.
    • Partner closely with engineering, data science, product management, design and product marketing teams to execute the vision, strategy and roadmap.
    • Partner with the Evisort data science team as they develop new artificial intelligence models, leveraging legal and business domain knowledge to steer product decisions.
    • Collaborate closely with legal experts, technology teams, and external stakeholders to align product development with the specific needs of corporate legal departments.
Product Development:
    • Lead the ideation, design, and implementation of new AI products and features, incorporating generative and predictive AI technologies to address legal and business challenges at major companies.
    • Define product requirements based on legal industry trends, compliance standards, and customer feedback.
    • Clear articulation of various monetization strategies to increase revenue from AI products and features, coupled with tactical execution within Evisort's Contract Intelligence portfolio to achieve these business goals.
Team Leadership:
    • Foster a collaborative team culture that encourages iteration and innovation, and a deep understanding of both the legal and business domains to steer product decisions.
Market Analysis:
    • Stay informed about advancements in generative and predictive AI, machine learning, and the broader legal tech landscape. Conduct market research to identify opportunities and challenges unique to the legal industry.

Experience:
    • 2-4 years experience in product management.
    • Product development with a focus on AI solutions. Demonstrated success bringing AI and ML based products and features to market.
    • Experience in assessing opportunity size for AI products that incorporate generative and predictive AI technologies.
    • Experience assessing AI metrics and business impact of AI products.
Technical Skills:
    • Ability to engage on technical decisions - technical background a plus
    • Familiarity with machine learning frameworks and tools relevant to legal applications.
    • Excellent at clear and logical communication of technical requirements.

    • Successful track record of leading cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, agile startup environment.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with legal professionals.
    • Experience in client-facing roles, with the ability to bridge the gap between internal and external requirements.
    • A logical thinker, capable of distilling complex use cases and patterns into logical and well communicated implementations.
    • A problem solver, able to break down a large and complex problem into discrete pieces of customer value that can be delivered incrementally and iteratively.
    • Comfortable navigating ambiguity to turn hard problems into clear and compelling solutions through reasoning and research.
Bonus points if you have:
    • Legal Background and/or Legal Tech Acumen
    • Legal domain expertise based on experience in law, contract management, management consulting, or a university degree in law
    • Strong understanding of legal tech trends, compliance standards, and industry regulations.
    • Knowledgeable about legal contracts and particularly clause types and key data points, or able to quickly get up to speed on clause types and different contract data points.
    • Ability to bridge the gap between legal requirements and technological solutions.
