Seeking an experienced onsite Engineer, Equipment III

In this role, you will provide day-to-day engineering support for manufacturing, maintenance, and process technology, ensuring the technical skills necessary to meet Business Unit goals. You will also provide engineering and project management to execute projects in a timely and cost-effective manner.

You will identify problems and provide technical solutions crucial to meeting Business Unit goals and customer expectations, prepare proposals for project funding and manage cross-functional project teams to achieve results, and oversee the efforts of vendors, consultants, and contractors, impacting cost and performance. Furthermore, you will develop and review Energy Control Procedures for equipment and support systems, using your best engineering judgment to address matters affecting safety and compliance.

Developing a thorough understanding of equipment and support systems, you will act as a trainer for out maintenance technicians by providing daily operational support, monitoring repairs, and ensuring equipment effectiveness. Safety is paramount, so you will identify and resolve health and safety issues and develop energy control procedures.

You will drive improvements in equipment and maintenance programs, track failure causes, and implement predictive maintenance methods to reduce downtime and increase reliability. You will also develop and review preventative maintenance tasks and schedules, optimize spare parts requirements, and identify cost-saving opportunities.

Collaboration with process technology resolve equipment-related yield issues and establishing control parameters. As a technical specialist, you will analyze problems and provide advanced technical solutions.

Project management responsibilities include preparing proposals, managing cross-functional teams, and overseeing vendors and contractors to ensure projects meet cost, schedule, and performance goals. You will also provide comprehensive documentation and training for Engineers I and II. This role involves working in clean rooms and occasionally in hazardous areas, so understanding workplace hazards and staying current with safety training is essential, and identifying and resolving.

Position Requirements:

Requires a minimum of BS degree in Engineering or Equivalent with more than 4 years of relevant industry related experience. Experience in chemical supply and wet-cleaning systems is a plus.

  • Ability to sit, stand, bend, twist, crouch, kneel, and walk at will at various amounts of time throughout the day.
  • Ability to use office equipment, phones, laptop effectively for various amounts of time throughout the day
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to move from one building to another across our headquarters
