Cybersecurity Specialist

The Cybersecurity Specialist is responsible for designing, developing, and implementing effective security solutions to protect company systems and projects. This role requires expertise in network and systems security, as well as excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive security plans and documentation of historical security events.
- Work with Infrastructure Team to communicate information security state, improve information security controls, and remediate risk issues.
- Perform IT security risk assessments and provide documented results/recommendations to IT Management.
- Develop and conduct IT security education and awareness training to improve organizational security posture.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need a minimum of 5 years of IT Security Engineering experience in an advanced technical environment, preferably within a large company. You should also have a strong understanding of Microsoft operating systems, Active Directory & Domain architecture, ACLs, DNS, DHCP, RADIUS, NPS, PKI, McAfee, Veeam, and WSUS. Additionally, experience with hypervisors, converged infrastructure, and hybrid-cloud design is highly desirable.
