Mechanical Equipment Engineer

Sonoco, a leading global packaging solutions provider, is seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Reliability Tech I to join its team. This role involves performing maintenance tasks to ensure high-quality and efficient product shipment.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform proactive maintenance tasks to prevent equipment breakdowns
Troubleshoot equipment issues and communicate corrective actions
Collaborate with operations personnel to resolve equipment-related issues
Required Skills:
Precision welding skills
Knowledge of shop tools and equipment
Understanding of mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical schematics
Technical skills to maintain and troubleshoot mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, piping, electrical, and robotic equipment
