Work where every moment matters. Join a comprehensive healthcare network at St. Vincent's Medical Center in Bridgeport, CT. We're seeking a Diagnostic Imaging Technologist to perform diagnostic radiographic imaging procedures and assist in patient care during exams.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform diagnostic imaging procedures by positioning patients and operating radiographic equipment
  • Minimize radiation exposure by practicing appropriate techniques
  • Accurately input procedural information into electronic medical records
  • Obtain relevant patient information and explain procedures to patients
  • Maintain exam rooms, supplies, and equipment
  • Participate in department initiatives and provide clinical supervision to students
  • Perform other related duties as required

Qualifications

Education: Graduate from an accredited Radiography program

Licensure: State of Connecticut Radiographer license, ARRT certification in Radiography, Basic Life Support (BLS)

Knowledge, Skills and Ability: Experience with PACS and digital Technology, knowledge of cross-section anatomy preferred, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, ability to multitask and prioritize, strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
