Position Overview:
A Vascular Imaging Technologist plays a crucial role in the healthcare team by utilizing advanced imaging technology to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of various medical conditions. This position requires collaboration with radiologists to conduct interventional procedures and generate high-quality images of patients' internal anatomy.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate ionizing x-ray equipment with precision to capture diagnostic images.
  • Administer contrast materials as per physician directives and ensure patient safety throughout the imaging process.
  • Position patients effectively to obtain optimal imaging results.
  • Engage with patients and healthcare professionals to maintain a high standard of care and professionalism.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and undertake additional imaging tasks as required.

Qualifications:
  • Completion of an accredited radiology technology program.
  • A minimum of two years' experience in Diagnostic Radiology.
  • Proficient understanding of radiographic and angiographic techniques and equipment.
  • Current licensure in the state of practice is mandatory.
  • BLS certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment.
