Kavaliro is seeking a Release/Build Engineer for a client in Jacksonville, FL working in an Azure DevSecOps environment.

Responsibilities:
• Craft and implement Azure DevSecOps strategies tailored to our software development lifecycle, ensuring robust security practices.
• Foster collaborative environments for task definition, scoping, and prioritization, optimizing Azure DevSecOps workflows.
• Engage closely with development, operations, and security teams to integrate advanced security measures like Dependabot updates and code scanning.
• Monitor and troubleshoot Azure DevOps pipelines proactively, resolving issues to maintain seamless operations.
• Conduct thorough security risk assessments, offering actionable recommendations for risk mitigation within the DevSecOps domain.
• Drive automation initiatives to enhance continuous integration/deployment across multiple environments.
• Apply agile methodologies and utilize Git for version control, ensuring streamlined development processes.
• Leverage Azure DevOps tools such as Pipelines, Repos, and Boards, optimizing their usage for efficient project management.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of DevSecOps processes, ensuring platform accuracy and sustainability.
• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, promptly addressing management concerns with viable solutions or escalation when necessary.
• Adhere to industry-standard project management methodologies and IT service principles like ITIL for streamlined operations.

• Deliver projects on schedule and within budget constraints.
• Foster collaboration across teams including developers, designers, testers, and project managers.

• Proficiency in Agile methodologies.

Specifications:
• Proficient in Azure DevSecOps and Agile methodologies.
• Demonstrated understanding of DevSecOps best practices.
• Competent in implementing and managing core features such as repository management, commits, branches, and merging.
• Skilled in scripting for writing, building, and deploying applications.
• Capable of effectively organizing and navigating repository history.
• Experienced in utilizing Azure DevOps to customize CI/CD pipelines for package publishing.
• Able to manage sensitive data and implement security policies within Azure environments.
• Willing to provide assistance and training as required.
• Proficient in writing and optimizing SQL queries, with a focus on query performance.
• Experienced with technologies including .NET Core 5.0, SQL Server 2019, Angular 10, Node.js 14.20.0, Visual Studio Code 1.80, Visual Studio 2019, and Bootstrap 4.6.0, or newer versions.
• Skilled in debugging code and conducting thorough unit tests across all application components.
• Committed to enforcing coding standards, particularly in secure coding practices.
• Capable of contributing to problem-solving efforts through technical expertise, time management, and analytical skills.
• Demonstrates strong organizational, written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Exhibits a high level of curiosity and enthusiasm for learning, both at a detailed and abstract level.
• Highly self-motivated and organized, possessing a keen business sense to align and fulfill product requirements within an architectural framework.
• Able to work independently on smaller projects.
