Job Description
Under general direction, the Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for engineering design drawings and CAD models of advanced fighter aircraft systems. This position will create and modify existing mechanical models and drawings using Solidworks and electrical 2D schematics and drawings in AutoCAD. Models and drawings will be captured, released, and managed in a Product Data Management (PDM) system. This position requires the application of sound engineering principles to participate in the program management, design, development, installation, test, and analysis of new and existing aircraft systems. The Mechanical Engineer will be involved in the rapid modification, prototyping, production, verification, and fielding of new and innovative technology in high-performance fighter aircraft.
