Job Description

$20,000 Sign On Bonus Hospital for Special Surgery and Stamford Hospital have entered into a unique collaboration to create the premier center for advanced orthopedics in New England. The collaboration includes dedicated orthopedics spaces, including: three inpatient operating rooms with related pre-operative and recovery space and 19 inpatient beds in the new Stamford Health hospital tower, with the opportunity for expansion.

We are currently seeking experienced Operating Room RNs interested in joining this exciting collaboration full time within our ambulatory location. Come join a team that is dedicated to providing a level of orthopedic ambulatory care unrivaled in Connecticut

The Operating Room nurse will function in the circulating and/or scrub role at our ambulatory Operating Room. This role will effectively deliver perioperative care to the surgical patients through the nursing process of assessment, planning, intervention, implementation, and evaluation. This position is located at Tully Health Center, 32 Strawberry Hill Ct in Stamford, CT.

Shift: 4 10s 6:45 AM to 5:15 PM.

Responsibilities

1) Valid license as Registered Nurse in the state of Connecticut.

2) ASN from an accredited School of Nursing required. BSN preferred; will consider candidates with a plan to pursue BSN or BSN in progress.

3) BLS certification required.

4) Minimum of one-year nursing experience required; orthopedic experience highly preferred.
