Job Description

Sign on bonus eligible Stamford Hospital is looking for an experienced, clinically competent Cardiac Operating Room nurse to join our prestigious team The Operating Room nurse will function in the circulating and/or scrub role in the Cardiac Operating Room. This role will effectively deliver perioperative care to the surgical patients through the nursing process of assessment, planning, intervention, implementation, and evaluation.

Required Skills:

1) Valid license as Registered Nurse in the state of Connecticut.

2) ASN from an accredited School of Nursing required. BSN preferred; will consider candidates with a plan to pursue BSN or BSN in progress.

3) BLS certification required.

4) Minimum of 1 year Cardiac OR experience required

5) CNOR certification highly desirable
