RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Staff the IT helpdesk
  • Assist users with various IT-related troubles
  • Install and maintain USAO hardware and software
  • Move IT equipment physically
  • Administer user accounts
  • Monitor and diagnose IT systems
  • Use trouble tickets to follow issues
  • Train district users
  • Track IT equipment
  • Perform other IT-related tasks as assigned by the Systems Manager or senior technicians
  • Maintain the utmost level of customer service, responsiveness, communication, and judgment
  • Travel to other district offices on a regular basis using government-provided vehicles

BACKGROUND

  • Physical capability to move IT equipment
  • Willingness to travel regularly
  • Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills

EDUCATION
  • 2 years of completed college studies in the computer/IT field
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
