Bendel Tank and Heat Exchanger, LLC, a division of TransTech Energy, LLC is a growing company servicing the Chemical and Industrial markets, with a footprint that covers the entire U.S. as well as Latin America and the Caribbean. To keep up with growing demand, we are looking to add a sales professional to our team, to assist with and work towards further developing our sales and marketing strategy.
Job summary
The Business Development Manager will be responsible for all sales and marketing activities within the Southeast region of the US. Primary responsibilities include the sale of equipment and services to the Chemical, Industrial, Food and Beverage industries. The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment and must maintain a high level of accuracy with a positive attitude.
Primary duties and responsibilities:
• Outbound Prospecting to gain new customer base
• Maintain a high level of professionalism with all prospects and clients
• Display proper knowledge of Bendel's products and services
• Work with Estimation and Engineering team to develop accurate quotes and provide timely follow up
• Develop/ maintain relationships within key accounts
• Participate in trade shows and industry association events
• Proficient use in SalesForce CRM (lead development, pipeline management, etc.)
• Perform various tasks as needed
Competencies:
• Minimum of 3 - 5 years' experience in business development (6 - 10 preferred) in Vessel/ Tank and Heat Exchanger Sales
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Keen attention to details with the ability to spot errors
• Strong analytical and organizational skills
• Ability to work with varying seniority levels, including staff, managers and external partners
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office
• Knowledgeable of the Chemical and Industrial Markets in the Gulf Coast and the customer base in which will be contacted
Education:
• BS/BA preferably in a discipline of Engineering, Business, Marketing or Communications
Travel:
• Able and willing to travel as necessary
