About this Position: 

The Sales Support Specialist at Honda Marine is instrumental in facilitating the fulfillment of orders spanning both Dealer and OEM (B2B) customers. This role involves managing a diverse range of orders, from direct dealer orders, manufacture drop shipments, government, and rental sales of Honda Marine outboard products. Serving as the crucial liaison between customers and Honda Marine. This position should demonstrate customer service mindset, high motivation, patience, and the ability to multitask in a dynamic and fast-paced marine industry environment. The Sales Support Specialist collaborates internally and externally to ensure customer satisfaction and engagement with Honda Marine outboard products and services.

Responsibilities include:

  • Sales order entry and management, monitoring customer request dates, scheduled ship dates, and addressing holds on orders for Honda Marine outboard products.
  • Respond to incoming calls and emails related to new inside sales orders, warranty claims, pricing issues, and general inquiries specific to Honda Maine outboard products.
  • Communicate order and account statuses to inside sales managers, sales teams, and customers within the context of Honda Marine outboard products.
  • Interact with internal and external customers in the inside sales context, serving as a key point of contact for the Honda Marine outboard products.
  • Assist inside sales in various tasks directly related to sales and business development on Honda Marine outboard engines.

Who we are seeking:

Required Work Experience:

  • Must have comprehensive SAP abilities
  • 5+ years of customer sales experience
  • 3+ years of SAP experience
  • 3+ years of Salesforce or similar CRM experience

Required Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field experience

Desired skills:

  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task between different customer types
