State Testing Coordinator Position Summary:
Working from one of our Family Service Centers in Pennsylvania, the State Testing Coordinator is responsible for organizing and coordinating all career readiness testing including ACT, ACT WorkKeys, ASVAB, PSAT, SAT, etc.
In order to be successful in any role at CCA, employee must carry out all responsibilities in such a way that demonstrates and models the values of CCA, abides by all standards and behaves in a professional and engaged manner at all times.
Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate all career readiness exams
  • Collaborate with the State Testing team to coordinate and schedule logistical arrangements including the following: reserving test sites, creating rosters, securing staffing, coordinating materials, etc.
  • Provide trainings to staff and track that all training requirements have been met
  • Research and implement national exams as they pertain to our student community
  • Coordinate all technology needs to implement accommodations at test sites statewide;
  • Recommend and oversee budgets as they pertain to travel and location arrangements;
  • Oversee test organization and distribution of test booklets to CCA offices and testing centers;
  • Attend trainings and complete all requirements to serve as test coordinator.
  • Maintain confidential and thorough records;
  • Develop rapport and maintain working relationships with external agencies and partners.
  • Oversee the post-test process to include, but not be limited to, organizing and shipping booklets, some analysis of student-level data, and the upload and distribution of testing results to staff, families and students;
  • Work with the Special Education Department and the Department of Quality and Compliance to ensure that necessary data runs are conducted;
  • Assist executive staff in organizing data for reporting purposes and in making changes to policies and the student handbook as they relate to testing requirements;
  • Provide updates on testing requirements, costs and organization weekly to the executive staff and leadership team;
  • Assume special responsibilities as assigned by supervisor;
  • Maintain and ensure that all deadlines are met within various exam portals
  • Maintain ongoing communication with staff, families and students on testing related items;
  • Execute mock exams, being proactive about resolving any anticipated roadblocks to testing periods
  • Document and maintain written processes and procedures
  • Survey families, students, and staff for feedback on potential improvements
  • Other duties as assigned.
Competencies:
  • Bachelor's Degree or related work experience;
  • Willingness to travel for state testing events, which may require some occasional overnight travel;
  • Previous experience in the management or administration of standardized testing protocols
  • Excellent organization and communications skills;
  • Customer focused approach;
  • High degree of flexibility;
  • Demonstrated ability to work well in fast paced environment;
  • Team player track record.
Work Environment:
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. Physical Demands:
This is largely a sedentary role. Requires the ability to lift, squat, sit, bend or stand as necessary. Ability to travel to other sites/locations as needed.
