Mechanical Assembler Monday-Friday 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM Pay: $760.00 per week Job Summary: The Mechanical Assembler will be responsible for assembling, modifying, reworking, and reassembling production components based on engineering drawings, blueprints, and verbal instructions. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of mechanical systems and the ability to operate various machines and hand tools. Key Responsibilities: Assemble, modify, rework, and reassemble production components using drawings, pick tickets, process documentation, and verbal instruction. Read, interpret, and follow basic blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, bills of materials, and other written instructions or procedures. Operate machines and understand their functionality, including how parts relate and impact system functionality. Use a variety of basic hand tools, such as wrenches, hammers, screwdrivers, and scrapers. Identify problems and assist with their resolution. Maintain excellent safety habits and follow all safety protocols. Demonstrate mechanical aptitude and the ability to learn new systems quickly. Maintain good attendance and excellent tenure. Qualifications/skills: 5 years of mechanical assembly experience. Proficiency in reading, interpreting, and following engineering drawings (minimum of 2 years required). Experience in reworking and reassembling components (minimum of 2 years required). Experience in testing mechanical systems (minimum of 2 years required). High school diploma or equivalent required. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
