Description

Position Purpose:

The User Journey Specialist is responsible for managing and optimizing the marketing user journey, from initial engagement to conversion and retention. Their ultimate goal is to ensure a seamless and positive experience for all customers throughout the marketing funnel. This includes a focus on developing effective email sequences and landing page content that engage and convert customers at each stage of their journey.

Essential Duties:
  • Develop and implement email drip campaigns and personalized content strategies based on user segmentation and behavior that guide customers through the marketing funnel and result in increased conversions and retention.
  • Utilize A/B testing and other digital marketing best practices to optimize user journeys, including website landing pages, email sequences, and other customer touchpoints.
  • Collaborate with other teams, such as content creators and data analysts, to gather insights and propose new ideas for content that resonates with customers and encourages them to engage further with the ministry.
  • Analyze data on customer behavior and engagement to identify areas for improvement and make data-driven recommendations for changes to the user journey.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and developments in marketing automation technology and email marketing best practices and apply this knowledge to continuously improve the user journey.
  • Monitor and report on key metrics such as email open and click-through rates, conversion rates, and overall customer engagement, and use this data to measure the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and adjust as needed.
Qualifications

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing best practices, particularly in the areas of user experience, user journeys, email marketing, A/B testing, and data analysis.
  • Ability to provide clear direction and feedback to content creators.
  • Proven ability to generate marketing assets that generate conversions and retention.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to interpret data and make data-driven recommendations for improvements to the user journey.
  • Understanding of how to build successful user journeys in HubSpot, Mailchimp, or other CRMs.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and high attention to detail.
  • Highly capable of problem-solving and active listening skills.
  • Superior level of organization, flexibility, and efficiency.
Requirements:
  • Must have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
  • Must sign Statement of Faith.
  • High school diploma or equivalent education is required.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred.
  • Charis Bible College student or graduate is preferred.
  • Must pass all required checks.
Experience:
  • Compensation is commensurate with experience.
