Position Overview:
As we continue to expand, we are seeking a dedicated Mechanical Superintendent to join our team. In this leadership role, you will oversee all aspects of our projects, ensuring they meet our high standards for safety, quality, and efficiency. Your contributions will be critical in helping us achieve our ambitious growth objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage scope, budgets, and costs for assigned VMG projects, ensuring financial efficiency.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, adapting as needed to meet deadlines.
  • Make crucial decisions on project start-up/shutdown processes, providing clear guidance to crews.
  • Collaborate closely with the General Superintendent to align project completion methods with VMG's standards and core values.
  • Conduct regular job site safety inspections and audits, maintaining a secure work environment.
  • Ensure all VMG projects are completed with the highest quality, adhering to provided plans and specifications.
  • Maintain all equipment, vehicles, and tools in safe working condition, ensuring proper use.
  • Lead crew members in completing daily pre-task plans and safety checklists.
  • Keep detailed daily job logs, documenting work progress, conditions, and any arising issues.
  • Approve job-related costs, including vendor invoices, payroll, and subcontractor expenses.
  • Develop and execute action plans to complete projects safely, on time, and under budget.
  • Foster strong working relationships with customers and suppliers, ensuring smooth operations and clear communication.
