Java Technical Architect

Infosys is seekin g a Java Technical Architect. T his position's primary responsibility will be for financial institution, to help in defining cross LOB architecture, improve existing patterns and introduce new industry standard patterns across the technical stack. The individual should have aptitude to understand the business process, work in a team environment with other architects, business/system analysts and developers. Candidate must be located within commuting distance o f Seattle, WA or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel to project locations. Required Qualifications. Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education At least 7 years of Information Technology experience Experience in architecting Java, J2EE applications Preferred Qualifications At least 7 to 10 years of experience in Java/J2EE technologies At least 7 years of experience in software development life cycle. At least 7 years of experience in Project life cycle activities on development and maintenance projects. Experience in Webservices. Experience in architectural solution and best practices for the design solutions, and functional programming. Participate and collaborate with technical, managerial, business executives. Provide new technical inputs and participating and planning in Proof of Concept (POC). Participate and work in resource modeling and cross functional technical brainstorming sessions. Experience in Banking domain. Strong communication and Analytical skills. Ability to work in team in diverse/ multiple stakeholder environment. Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment.
